i had left for the airport early, with spare time. i decided to stop by one of my favorite restaurants, which happens to be right at a light rail station. i ordered mi quang, one of my favorite noodle bowls. it's different from the others and not common on menus. also, i never had this growing up, but apparently still my people food.

yay, i have permission to go. at first, i was gonna go by myself. then my mom said she would join me. two weeks before the trip, she decides to flake out on me. so, now i'm back to going by myself. we had not set any plans once we got to saigon. thus my mom ditching me doesn't really affect the trip so far. so yeah, no set plans yet once in saigon, just ideas. we'll see what ideas actually falls into place.
